In Spanish class, third graders have been exploring what makes each child unique through the reading of the book ¡Solo Pregunta! (Just Ask!) written by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

In her book, written in Spanish, Sotomayor shares how having diabetes made her different as a child. She uses nature and a beautiful garden as a foundation for the story as she introduces children with extraordinary abilities.

Through the Seesaw platform, third graders have been building their vocabulary by listening to read-aloud video segments of the book and have been engaged in speaking activities.  They have also been illustrating images and writing about their favorite flowers. They have been very busy! If you would like to find out what makes third graders unique, ¡Sólo Pregunta! Just ask!
