As you’re planning your fall to winter lineup of activities, be sure to include D-E 360° Discovery Days on campus chess tournaments and off campus field trips for professional days when school is closed. Our ACE Team thought long and hard about this year’s line-up of Discovery Day options. Because we break our participants into smaller groups by grade, each experience is designed for fun with friends as well as extended learning that complements what the children are learning in Lower School. During our last trip to Legoland in Westchester, the children were able to make deep connections with one another as well as with their own creativity. Check out our photo gallery for captured moments when the kids were doing karaoke, challenging themselves with building and just basking in the joy of discovery. Our next off-campus adventure is on November 15 to the Newark Museum of Art where the children will explore American Art, Stop Motion Animation as well as Physics Fun. And don’t forget! There’s a November 14th half day of school. We are offering a Chess Tournament with Grandmaster Mac for the 14th. For a D-E 360° Discovery Days flyer, click here.
