Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

This March was the beloved Dr. Seuss’s birthday. To celebrate, students in the library listened to various books written by Dr. Seuss. Students were enthralled with the rhyme and imagination. After hearing the books (and sometimes chanting along), the children engaged in activities inspired by the text’s lessons. For example, after hearing Green Eggs and Ham, first graders drew and wrote about something new they would try while kindergarteners drew what they imagine based on Oh, the Thinks You Can Think!

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go. – Dr. Seuss
